# Discord community

> What the BooleanSMTP Discord community is for, its participation rules, and where to find it inside BooleanSMTP.

The BooleanSMTP Discord community is a place for WordPress site owners and contributors to learn BooleanSMTP, troubleshoot
setup problems, share feedback, and follow releases.

It is not a substitute for private support. For an account, licensing, billing or technical issue tied to your site,
open **BooleanSMTP → About** and use **Direct Support** instead of posting about it in the community.

## Rules

- Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content or personal attacks.
- Keep posts on topic and in the right channel. Search before starting a duplicate question.
- No spam, unsolicited promotion, mass pings, misleading links, impersonation, scams or unsolicited invite links.
- Never post a password, an SMTP or API credential, an OAuth token, a webhook URL, a private key, a full recipient list,
  a complete email body, a database export, or unredacted log or header data — not even in a support post. A Slack,
  Discord or Telegram webhook URL you use with BooleanSMTP's [alerts](/alerts/) is a secret; treat it the same way.
- Do not use the community to coordinate phishing, spam, sender spoofing, abuse, or evading a provider's protections.
- Do not direct-message staff for support. Post publicly, with anything sensitive redacted, unless a staff member asks
  you to move a specific case to a private channel.
- Respect moderator decisions. Use the community's private appeal route rather than disputing a decision publicly.
- Follow Discord's own [Community Guidelines](https://discord.com/guidelines) and Terms of Service.

Community staff will never ask you for a password, an SMTP or API credential, an OAuth token, a full recipient list, a
complete email body, a database export, or unredacted headers or logs — in the community or anywhere else.

Open **BooleanSMTP → About** in your WordPress admin, then click **Discord Community** under **Community & Support**.
