# Install BooleanSMTP

> Add the BooleanSMTP plugin to your WordPress site from the plugin directory or a zip file, then find it in the sidebar.

## Before you begin

BooleanSMTP requires WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 8.1 or later.

1. In your WordPress admin, go to **Plugins → Add New Plugin**.
2. Search for **BooleanSMTP**.
3. Click **Install Now**, then **Activate**.

To install from a zip file instead, go to **Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin**, choose the file, click
**Install Now**, then **Activate**.

BooleanSMTP adds its own **BooleanSMTP** item to the admin sidebar. It is a top-level item, not under **Settings**.
